Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo in the Showcase TV series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay who is director of drama and producer in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mother. Her father, Peter, was an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending play rehearsals. Silk created a variety of commercials when she was still in the midst of her childhood. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred from St. Thomas University, 1997. Her early theater experience includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved to Toronto, Canada in November of 1999, to keep acting. After that, she relocated into Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Silk met her husband, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's workshop held in Los Angeles in 2007. When she got engaged in 2008, the couple got married in 2009. Following her conversion to Judaism and they renewed their wedding vows at an Jewish ceremony on the 10th of April 2011 in Fredericton. Silk was blessed with a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13 2013. Her second son Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk was also nominated 2009 for the Gemini Awards in her role in the role of Cassidy Holland. In 2009, she was cast in the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television series Lost Girl. Silk revealed to her followers that she was expecting a baby at the beginning of January 2013, during the Showcase Season Three Special. On June 4 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced the start of production on the fourth season. Then on June 20, 2013 Silk tweeted that she was ready to the set of the show. CNN recognized Bo's performance alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples of all time. E! voted it as top TV couple for 2013. Entertainment Television.
